Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada is committed to controlling the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.

We gather and use personal information in order to deliver our various services, programs, and activities. This information is kept in confidence and is carefully protected. Business contact information and publicly available information are not considered personal information.

We collect, use and disclose personal information only for the purposes for which it was gathered and as described at the time of collection. We only collect the information we need to fulfill these purposes. We keep all information safeguarded and we only keep information for as long as our disclosed uses require. For example, CRA Regulations require that we keep information relating to donations for seven (7) years.

Upon request, you can view, revise, or remove any of your personal information or restrict how that information is used at any time.

You may lodge a complaint with a regulatory authority if there has been non-compliance with applicable privacy law.

If we intend to further process your personal information for a purpose other than that for which the personal information was collected, we will provide you, prior to that further processing, with information on that other purpose and with any relevant further information.
