Join BrainWAVE and get ready for an exciting day of rides, thrills, spills and splashes:

  • Registration will be from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
     
  • Picnic lunch will be provided from 12:00 pm  - 1:30 pm
     
  • Connect with your other BrainWAVE friends, and then
     
  • Enjoy the slides!

Please note that onsite parking is available for $30/day which is not covered by BrainWAVE or Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.

Please note: Registration for this event is limited to BrainWAVE members (pediatric brain tumour patients) and their immediate family only. Alcohol is not permitted at any BrainWAVE event.

Lynn’s story: Steering Through It.

Usually surrounded by friends and family, Lynn was alone when she heard the words: “I’m sorry to inform you… an abnormal lesion… aggressive”. A brain tumour. Lynn had been ignoring the symptoms that started two years prior to the diagnosis, attributing them to a new job, or getting older. She did see an audiologist for tinnitus in her left ear and about dizzy spells, which she thought were vertigo. When headaches became debilitating, Lynn sought medical attention. An MRI found the brain tumour.
